At Craze Dance Academy it is our aim to provide quality dance tuition and care that encourages and supports the physical, emotional and cognitive development of the individual.  Our qualified, registered teachers and student teachers look forward to passing on their knowledge, and passion for dance to all students who attend dance classes at our dance school.

The teachers and staff at Craze Dance Academy aim to –

• Provide a high standard of tuition in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern/Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Tap, Hip Hop, Stretch and Strengthen and Adult Fitness both Ballet and Jazz based.
• Nurture a love of dance.
• Provide encouragement and support to the... individual.
• Provide a well-rounded dance training program.
• Provide a fun and creative class environment.

BABIES DANCE

Tiny Tots and Tiny Boppers

Children from the age of three (3) are instructed in dance which includes exercise which help with co-ordination and general motor skills.  This is done in a fun and playful way.

BALLET

Students from the age of five can begin to learn the beautiful and graceful art of ballet.  Our qualified teachers guide students as they work to develop strength, balance, poise and artistry.  Students will learn syllabus work which will allow them to undertake examinations or presentation classes with the Royal Academy of Dancing, the largest international classical ballet education organisation in the world.  Pointe work is normally started when the children are at around 12 years of age, and have completed Grade 5 ballet exams, but this depends on a lot of factors e.g. strength, maturity, ability and most of all the teachers recommendation

JAZZ

Do you love the latest funky music?  Are 6 years and over.  Then grab your friends and join one of our exciting jazz classes to learn the sharp, strong and high-energy moves of this dance style

MODERN/CONTEMPORARY

Learn to express yourself through the soft fluid movements of modern/ contemporary, which is based on balletic moves & inward body focus.   Unlike classical ballet, modern/contemporary often utilizes ground work and dancers usually perform in bare feet.

What a wonderful start to 2019, classes will commenced on Monday 4th February and the studio will be full of excitement.

Miss Becky, Miss Andrea and myself will be teaching the ballet with the helping hand of Miss Bella (Youman). We love to give students the opportunity to extend their skills in dance in the form of teaching. We welcome Miss Jade (Jazz, Hip Hop & Tap), Miss Sarah (Contemporary and Jazz), Miss Bella (Musical Theatre and Contemporary), Miss Chloe (Junior Hip Hop.  Miss Steph is biting at the bit to return after her maternity leave.  They are very capable teachers and are very excited and full of new ideas for the classes, I cant wait to see what they choreograph.

2019 ENROLMENT FORM

We are now registered to accept both Active Kids and Creative kids vouchers.  We ask that if you want to use it that you print the voucher off and write your childs date of birth on it and drop it in.  It must be in by 2nd week of Term to be able to take it off that Terms fees.  EG to use off Term 1 fees it must be to us by Friday 15th February 2019.

CRAZE DANCE CONCERTS

This year as usually we will be having our Full Concert at the begining of August, the Town Hall has been booked from Sunday 28th July- Sunday 4th August (a week earlier than usual due to family commitments).

The Christmas Concert will be 5th-8th December.
